Thor: Ragnarok is an up and coming American superhuman film in light of the Marvel Comics character Thor, delivered by Marvel Studios and appropriated by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is expected to be the continuation of 2011's Thor and 2013's Thor: The Dark World and the seventeenth film portion of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The movie is coordinated by Taika Waititi with a screenplay by Eric Pearson, and stars Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett, Idris Elba, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson, Karl Urban, Mark Ruffalo, and Anthony Hopkins. In Thor: Ragnarok, Thor must annihilation the Hulk in a gladiatorial duel so as to spare Asgard from Hela and the coming Ragnarök.

A third Thor film was affirmed in January 2014, with the title and inclusion of Hemsworth and Hiddleston declared that October. Waititi joined the movie as executive the following October, after Alan Taylor picked not to come back from the second film, and Ruffalo joined the cast, traverse the character Hulk from other MCU films. With the Hulk's consideration, components from the 2006 comic storyline "Planet Hulk" were adjusted for Ragnarok. Whatever is left of the cast was affirmed the following May, with Pearson uncovered to be required with the film toward the begin of shooting in July 2016. Central photography occurred from July to October, 2016, in Queensland and Sydney, Australia, with the film having selective utilization of Village Roadshow Studios in Oxenford.

Thor: Ragnarok is planned to be discharged in the United States on November 3, 2017, in 3D, IMAX and IMAX 3D.
